Harbour Porpoise Migration

Not much is known about the seasonal movements and migrations of the harbour porpoise. It seems to follow the movements of its small fish prey. Genetic analysis of porpoises along the coast of North America suggests that the species is not migratory and divergence of populations is occurring (Rosel et al. 1995).
